But in a competitive franchise league like Bmore Outchea, sometimes you gotta win ugly, and that's what Denver did.

The Cardinals came to play, no doubt about it, but they couldn't execute when it mattered most. Both offenses were completely stalled out on the field, which tells me we're looking at some serious defensive schemes being deployed here. The Broncos' defense showed up in a big way, holding Arizona scoreless long enough to pull away with that 24-16 victory. This is what real adjustments look like in a competitive setting — when you can shut down an offense completely, you take your victory and move on.

But here's what I want to say to the Cardinals organization: you can't afford to have another performance like this if you want to compete in this league. The Broncos are sending a message early in the season, and Denver's coaching staff deserves credit for whatever defensive blueprint they executed.
