Rules
The rulebook for Bmore Outchea's server.
League Settings & Basics
Game Settings:
> Difficulty: set by your commissioner (commonly All-Madden in Competitive Mode) > Quarter Length: set by your commissioner (commonly 6 to 8 minutes) > Injuries: as configured > Custom Playbooks: as configured
Week Advances: set by your commissioner. Know the schedule and play your games before the deadline.
Gameplay Rules: 4th Down & Clock
4th Down Rules. Go for it ONLY when: > Past midfield (opponent's 49 or closer) > 4th & 3 or less > Down 17+ points at any time > 3rd quarter, trailing by 10+ > 4th quarter, tied or trailing > Playoffs (any situation)
Fake punts and FGs are allowed at any time.
Chew Clock: not allowed before 3 minutes left in the 4th quarter.
Onside Kick: no onside kicks unless you are down 17+ before your first onside.
Pass Rush: 3 defenders must be rushing at all times.
Mercy Rule: after the 2nd quarter, a losing team who feels they have no chance can use the mercy command to concede. The cost is 1 to 20 currency paid to the winning team, at the winner's discretion.
CPU Games & PED System
CPU Games: allowed. Open teams get played versus CPU.
PED System (Stat Padding Detection):
The bot auto-monitors your stats. Exceed any of these thresholds and you get PED flagged: > Passing: 550+ yards or 8+ TDs > Rushing: 300+ yards or 6+ TDs > Receiving: 340+ yards or 5+ TDs > Defense: 8+ sacks or 5+ INTs (team total)
If flagged:
> You must match that stat line in a real USER game to clear it. > Each flagged game = 1 challenge. Stats do not carry between games. > Fail to clear = your player loses a Dev trait level.
3 PED violations = permanent CPU ban. That player will no longer be allowed to play against the CPU. Tracked automatically by the bot.
Availability & Scheduling
You must be active enough to play your games each week AND respond to messages within a decent time frame.
How disputes are ruled:
If a game cannot be played, the game channel chat is reviewed by staff to determine who gets the force win, force loss, or fair sim based on communication and availability.
3 force losses without communication in a row = gone.
Communicate Issues UPFRONT:
Tell your opponent about scheduling problems BEFORE, not after as an excuse. Be respectful. The person you are playing may have put something off in order to play you.
Pro Tip: if you have a general schedule of availability, share it with your opponents and the commissioners.
๐จ Zero Tolerance Rules
QUITTING GAMES: zero tolerance. You quit, you are GONE. PERIOD. Mercy rule concessions are not quitting. Use the Grant Mercy button in your game channel.
BEST EFFORT RULE (No Tanking):
Tanking the season (losing or missing games on purpose) when eliminated from playoff contention to get a higher draft pick will degrade your earning rate. > Enforced by commissioner opinion.
DROP/SIGN RULE: not allowed unless approved to restructure contract. Anyone caught will be penalized.
NO DROP TRADING: drop trading is NOT permitted.
BROADCASTING RULE: do NOT watch your opponent's broadcast while playing them live. You will get booted.
Connection Issues & Dev Games
Connection Issues:
All disconnected games or server drops are to be recreated or restarted depending on the situation. > Handle it between yourselves if possible. > Cannot agree? Contact a commissioner. Their decision is FINAL. > If you cannot connect at all, the game is simmed unless one person agrees to auto.
Development Games:
If you have a dev game, screenshot it before playing in case your opponent cannot play. If opponent cannot play, the dev game is pushed to your next matchup.
Conduct & Adult Rule
Trash Talk: cool and encouraged. Keep it competitive, not personal.
Adult Rule: disputes will be handled with your opponent like adults. If you two cannot work it out and ask for assistance from admins, staff will vote and the decision will be FINAL. If you do not like the ruling, you should have worked it out with your opponent first.
Crossing the Line:
> Hate speech: immediate action. > IRL threats: immediate action. > Family or personal attacks: immediate action.
Broken Gameplay Rules: if you believe your opponent is breaking a gameplay rule, screenshot it, record it, or do whatever you can to provide proof. If you do not have proof, nothing happened.
Bar Rules: think of the server like a bar. Talk your shit, have fun, compete. It is all cool until it is not.
The Rule: if you do not like how someone plays, stop it on the field, not in the chat.
Common Sense Rule
If you did not use common sense and did not attempt to follow the rules, you may be penalized. This is completely under the commissioner's opinion.
โ ๏ธ All these rules have some flexibility because some situations call for crazy stuff. But you need a VERY reasonable explanation if you plan on breaking them.
Complaints Matter: if an owner has enough complaints against them, that is enough to boot that owner (explanation or not). Commissioners monitor all complaints.
If 3 out of 4 people say you did it, guess what?
Follow the rules. Compete hard. Have fun.
Roster Management & Trading
Trade Eligibility:
> 5 minimum games must be played to be eligible to trade (simmed games do not count). > Trades are approved based on the trade calculator and league office approval. > If 2 users agree to a trade and it is approved, neither party can back out. The trade is mandatory. > No CPU or unowned team trades. > No drop trading. > If you trade with a team who leaves before the end of the season, the trade will be reversed. > Team switching is up to admin discretion, though generally approved.
Dev Traits: dev traits do NOT regress in this league.
Use the Trade Block button in your Player Hub to list a player or propose a trade.
